What originally started in 2013 as a hobby turned small business for Joni Higson with assets of just of £40, a stack of business cards and a pocket full of persistence, today a thriving estate agency with a team of ten and new premises on Hull's busy Chanterlands Avenue.
Along the way, Joni's determination has been matched with hard work to overcome difficult market conditions, a changing industry and inevitable knock-backs. The underlying strength of the business was, and remains it's approach and ethos and by 2014 Joni, along with business partner Jeremy Heath, formed Higson Homes as a limited company with Jeremy bringing both industry insight and business experience to provide an all-round view of how a great product can be built on the back of giving the customer what they want.
We have dedicated team member who are trained on their individual roles in the company. For a landlord it is a one stop shop service and they have a dedicated accounts manager who control and look after their assets. We are always looking to grow and to give opportunity to others. We recruit not always on experience but on wiliness to learn new skills & personalities. Skills can be taught however its important that the customer is dealing with a member of staff who shows integrity and passion which gives the customer experience a better one.
